A rainy wet day. One builder, 2 cabinet makers, their painter, our painter and the residents (Tony,Carly & Stella) all working in a confined space. A couple of problems with the kitchen. But they will be sorted out.

Wednesday
Day Sixty Seven....
A whole lot of action today. The cabinets were delivered and assembled. The painter did his top work again. And a couple of builders and the plumber came back to fix another mistake. And, Carly was painting up a storm in the sunroom.
Sunday
Weekend (Two)....
We went to Stokehouse Restaurant at Southbank on Saturday night. The food was good and the views were great. Our table was where the group of people in the photo are sitting. We didn't take these photos.
Saturday
Weekend....
Day Sixty Five....
The electrician, tilers and one apprentice (only for a few hours) finished off the week. The toilet grouting and edging was completed. The power points and a few light switches were connected through the new part of the house. That's the switches at night.
Day Sixty Four....
All is quiet. No apprentice. No trades people today.
There's still a problem with the bath taps. The first set of taps were faulty. They sent up another, and they were also faulty! Now we're just waiting on the third.... They look good. Too bad they don't actually work.

Day Sixty Three....
One apprentice is still hanging around. He doesn't really finish anything. He might start a few little things but none will be finished. He also goes through a lot of toilet paper.
We've been waiting on our locks and handles for the doors. It's been about 7 weeks. But, the builder decided to ram some old dead bolt on the doors the day they arrived in Melbourne. He could have did it a few weeks ago. Anyway, they should be here on Monday.

Wednesday
Day Sixty One & Two....
Nothing obvious to show. One apprenctice is left on site, going round finishing off jobs that were left 90% finished. But, our light switches and power points arrived today.
Sunday
Weekend (Doctor Jenny)....
With my fast paced life style, my body needs a lot of attention. I visit Doctor Jenny for some acupuncture and physio. The fluro lights do nothing for my complexion...
Weekend....
Day Sixty....
The tilers worked in the toilet and powder room. They'll be back next week to finish off the grout and a few little things. The rest of walls in these rooms will be wallpapered.
Only one of the apprentice builders were on site. Just a bit done here, a bit done there.

Friday
Day Fifty-Nine....
The electrician installed half the lights. They look good. And, the remaining window arrived for the kitchen.
Day Fifty-Eight....
The plumber came and did his usual workmanship. One of the bath tap handles started spurting water and wet all the marble tiles.
Wednesday
Day Fifty-Seven....
Day Fifty-Six....
The grouting was finished. The roof in the scullery was realigned for the VJ's to line up. And a few cornices were put on.
Day Fifty-Five....
Thursday
Day Fifty-Four....
The work centred in the pantry and toilet. A new ceiling and some dividing walls were almost finished. The tilers are back tomorrow, so Carly had to paint the bathroom in readiness.
